The Harlem Wildcats scheduled contest with the Great Falls Central Catholic Mustangs was set to be played this past Friday. The Mustangs ended their season after week number two leaving the Wildcats in need of a game.

The Rocky Boy Stars agreed to play the Wildcats in Harlem, but with the Stars already scheduled to play a game on Saturday, the contest would have to take place on a Monday.

In a rare Monday Varsity contest the Wildcats were able to host the Stars, hold their Senior Night prior to the start of the game and recognize the 1951 Class C Montana State Champion Harlem Wildcat Football team at halftime.

As for the game the Stars started fast, scoring 35 first quarter points. The Wildcats struggled to get things going on both sides of the ball and trailed 43-6 at halftime.

Harlem scored a pair of touchdowns in the second half in a 64-18 loss to Rocky Boy.

The Wildcats have completed their inaugural season of Class C Eight-man football, finishing with a 2-5 record. With two open weeks remaining in the season there is a chance that the Wildcats could play once more. Check with the school for any updates.
