Achieving a place on the ROAR Roster means being a role model. During this tenth month of the year, three Harlem Elementary students were selected as ROARing students on October 1. A second trio was named on October 8. However, due to some complications in securing media releases and in mail getting quarantined, two groups of ROARing students are actually a bit behind. They join the current group named on Friday, October 15.

Computer Technology Assistant and ROAR spokesperson for the school, Janice Gilham called first grader Halo Daniels, third grader Jayda WhiteClay, and sixth grader Grace Brown "the terrific threesome" when their names were added to the Rockin' ROAR Roster for the week ending October 1.

"For following the ROAR Rules both in and out of school, as well as in their own communities and in other communities they visit, Halo, Jayda, and Grace definitely deserve this 'Pawsome' Lil' Wildcat award. Well done," Gilham said.

The next group to join Harlem's prestigious Rockin' ROAR Roster on October 8 include kindergartener Zaylee Rising Sun, fourth grader Kaci Boushie, and sixth grader Jeremiah Brockie.

About these winners, Gilham stated: "This great group of learners has what it takes to be Respectful, Organized, Always safe, and Responsible at all times while proving to be outstanding role models for their peers. Harlem Elementary is very proud of this exceptional October trio: Zaylee, Kaci, and Jeremiah!"

Finally, October 15 ushered in the three newest members to earn a spot on the ROAR Roster. Friday's honors went to second grader Jadacen Sanchez, fourth grader Kaydee Brown, and fifth grader Alan Bigby. These learners also earned a prize from the glass case.

"Expectations are high for ROARing Lil' Wildcats, and Jadacen, Kaydee, and Alan are perfect role models! What a terrific trio," exclaimed Gilham. "You are our Lil' Wildcat shining stars!"
