With the holidays behind us, we are now full speed ahead with programs. We are trying to reach out to parents with preschool aged children, who may not be aware of our weekly Story Time Program. If you have preschool aged children, plan to bring them for Story Time at 10:30 Tuesday mornings. It’s a great way to meet other parents and make new friends!

During the month of January, we are continuing our “Bag of Books” Sale! We will give you a big bag and you can put as many books as you can fit in it for $3.00. We have had several donations recently, so there are some nice, new books on the sale shelf.

We have three non-fiction books ready to go this week. “Montana Disasters: True Stories of Treasure State Tragedies and Triumphs” by Butch Larcombe, chronicles explosions, fires, floods, earthquakes, avalanches, and many other tragedies spanning more than a century. In “The Book of Hope” by Jane Goodall, Jane focuses on her "Four Reasons for Hope": The Amazing Human Intellect, The Resilience of Nature, The Power of Young People, and The Indomitable Human Spirit. “The Sleep Fix” by Diane Macedo has practical, proven, and surprising solutions for insomnia, snoring, shift work, and more.

We have four thrillers available this week. “Everything We Didn’t Say” by Nicole Baart is a tale about love, loyalty, and secrets from a summer night 15 years ago. “True Story” by Kate Reed Petty traces the fifteen-year fallout of a toxic high school rumor. It is a riveting novel about the power of stories—and who gets to tell them. In “When You are Alone” by Michael Robotham, a young female police officer faces danger on all fronts—from a clever victim of abuse, her colleagues on the force, and even her own mobster father. “Reckless Girls” by Rachel Hawkins a deliciously wicked gothic suspense, set on an isolated Pacific Island with a dark history.
