The Book Challenge for April is to read a book from the 900s section (history and geography). If you have completed the March Book Challenge please contact the library to be entered to win a gift certificate from a local business.

Book Club members may pick up the new selection “Midnight at the Blackbird Cafe” by Heather Webber this week. The first discussion will be April 11, 4 P.M.

Story Hour for little ones and their parents/caregivers is held every Tuesday at 10 A.M. After School Squad for elementary age children meets on Wednesdays at 3:30. Lego Club for all ages is held on Thursdays at 3:30.

Stop by and see the new titles available for check out this week. “The Love of My Life” is by Rosie Walsh. Emma loves her husband, Leo, and their daughter, Ruby. But everything they think they know about her is a lie. When Emma suffers a serious illness, Leo copes by working. During his research as an obituary writer he uncovers the truth about his wife. Emma must somehow prove she really is the woman he loves. But first she must tell him about the other love of her life.

Erin Young is the author of “The Fields.” The body of a young woman is found dead in an Iowa cornfield. When Sergeant Riley Fisher, head of investigations, arrives on the scene the crime becomes personal as she realizes the victim was a childhood friend connected to a dark past she thought she had left behind.

A new nonfiction book is “Montana Disasters: True Stories of Treasure State Tragedies and Triumphs” by Butch Larcombe. Larcombe brings to readers the stories of disasters spanning the last century as well as the stories of victims, survivors, and rescuers.

“Targeted” is the latest Bob Lee Swagger novel by Stephen Hunter. As Swagger is summoned to appear before Congress the hearing is attacked. As a bloodthirsty gang takes hostages Swagger must use his instincts, shooting skills and the help of an enigmatic rogue operator to keep everyone alive.

Other new selections include “Wild Irish Rose,” a Molly Murphy mystery by Rhys Bowen, “Nothing to Lose” by J.A. Jance, and “Honor” by Thrity Umrigar.

The library offers free notary public services. We also can scan, Fax, and laminate documents. All patron computers are now available for use. The library subscribes to a variety of magazines as well as three newspapers.
