Merrilyn Billmayer and Loretta Beck were among those who attended the Tri-Parish council meeting at the Lutheran Church in Turner on Sunday. Dalton Cornell, Ed Zellmer, and Gene and Susan Billmayer also were Hogeland members who attended.

Jane Krass hosted a belated birthday party at her home on Saturday for Linda Hauge and Susan Billmayer. Diana Maloney, Anita and Brooke Reed, Hilary, Hannah, and Natalie Richman, as well as Linda and Susan attended.

Linda Hauge and Anita Reed visited Jane Krass on Tuesday, and they celebrated Linda’s birthday with an apple pastry “Puffin” treat.

The Turner Tornado Junior High team participated in the Whitewater Track Meet on Friday. The girls and their science teacher, Amy Egbert, then left from Whitewater and on to Bozeman. They attended the S.T.E.A.M. (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics) conference for girls, which was held at the MSU campus on Saturday.


Susan Billmayer was a lunch guest at Shannon Van Voast’s home on Thursday.

The Big Flat experienced some interesting weather on Tuesday and Wednesday. Tuesday morning was a total whiteout for several hours, and on Wednesday they received snow showers most of the day.

The High School Track team participated in the track meet in Havre on Friday.

Sunday visitors at Jane Krass’ home were Diana Maloney and Hilary Richman.

Loretta Beck attended the ALA meeting in Turner on Wednesday evening.

The Missoula Children’s Theatre “Red Riding Hood” production will be in Turner this week, with their performance to be held Saturday at the Turner School Gym.
