Havre Trails Invites Hiking Enthusiasts to Participate

This past Saturday, July 8, Havre Trails sponsored a hike event from Ranger Creek to Wolf Creek on the Rocky Boy's Reservation. The group met at the Bear Paw Ski Bowl parking lot at 9:00 a.m. to caravan to the trailhead.

Taking around three hours to complete, this approximately five mile hike was on a trail with a gradual to moderate incline and a thousand foot elevation gain. At its highest elevation, the trail offered views of Little Joe Butte, Elk Peak, and Wellen Peak. Hikers also enjoyed the semi-shaded valley at Wolf Creek.
