Since May 20, Chinook shoppers may have noticed an eagle "flying" around town. Although the stuffed eagle doesn't have a name, the bird will land in various businesses over the next two months as a way to generate interest in the Blaine County Wildlife Museum.
The eagle first landed in Prairie Pieces Boutique but flew on to Ace Hardware on May 30. The idea is the brain child of the Museum Manager, Dawn Colby, who encourages people to participate in the Take a Selfie Contest to win free museum admission for two or a stuffed animal of one's choice from the Museum Gift Shop.
