Chinook Golf Course to hold Community Dinner Live Auction Fundraiser this Saturday

The Chinook Golf Course and Country Club is holding a Community Dinner and Live Auction this Saturday, September 9 at the Blaine County Fairground Commercial Building.

The fundraiser is to help raise funds for maintenance and upkeep of the course. Equipment needs to be repaired or updated, fertilizer, bug spray, sand are all other common needs for the course to be able to work properly in addition to many other needs.

There is a lot of things planned for the night which begins with a social hour at 4:00 p.m. Beverages are being handled by the Chinook Eagles Club.

Barbecued Baby Back Ribs are the main attraction of the Dinner being prepared by Mick Hefflin, John Miller with help from some wonderful women.

The Live Auction will begin at 6:30 p.m. with Auctioneer Bob Sivertsen running the show.

There are some wonderful items to be bid on that have been donated by several businesses and generous individuals.

In addition there will be a number of door prizes being given away throughout the night as well as raffle with a chance to win $1,000. 200 Tickets will be sold for the raffle and a limited number are still available.

This is a community event meant to be a fun time for the entire family not just golfers.

All proceeds will go to upkeep and improvement to the local course.
