The Turner Tornadoes and the Hays/Lodge Pole Thunderbirds each found themselves with just one game this weekend. Both squads saw their Saturday games postponed until a later date. Friday evening, the Tornadoes were in Hays for a District 9C contest. Turner got off to a fast start and never looked back in earning a 78-30 win over the Thunderbirds.
Friday night in Hays, Turner senior Ryan Doyle turned in a huge first quarter effort, scoring thirteen points to power a hot start by the Tornadoes. Junior Tate Beck knocked down a triple while senior Trent Billmayer scored four himself. Turner tallie...
