The 2017 U.S. Capitol Christmas Tree is pictured on Highway 2, headed to Libby, as it crosses the Kootenai River near Troy, Montana. The tree was on its way to be packed in a custom eight by eight foot plexiglass container for the highway trip to the U.S. Capitol. The tree made two stops in Blaine county on November 17 during its trip to Washington, DC.
