Photos from: Trio 'hand cycling' across the U.S. makes stop in Chinook

These recumbent handcycles are being ridden across the U.S. Three paralyzed men are making the trip accompanied by two women and the children of one of the men. The women drive vehicles that support the trip by hauling needed supplies and camping equipment. The group left Anacortes, Washington on June 2 and plans to arrive in Bar Harbor, Maine around the 20th of August. The trip follows the northern tier bike route that is 4200 miles long.
