ost Commander Ray Reid (left of photo) presents a check for $1000 on behalf of the Chinook VFW Post 4620 to JUMP, a local youth group. Chrissy Down, an adult leader with JUMP, accepts the check as JUMP member Jacob Huckabee looks on. Earlier in June JUMP members and leaders, with help from a group of volunteers visiting from the Green Bay, Wisconsin area, painted the VFW building on Pennsylvania Street and readied the VFW's food booth for the upcoming fair. The VFW building also houses Chinook's Food Pantry, a community food bank.
