This is the wedding photo of Kristian and Agnethe Olson who married in Norway, where he died in 1903. Agnethe emigrated to America with four children and filed a homestead claim in 1910 in the Grandview are. She raised her family there and died in 1955, a few months short of her 100th birthday. She wrote 70+ letters about her life in America. The letters were made available for this story by Toni Brown Dafoe, a great granddaughter of Mrs. Forseth.
