Photos from: McClelland Ferry launched for possible 100th season




This photo, from the late 1920's, shows a vehicle and likely a passenger on the old wooden McClelland Ferry. From the 1920's until a steel ferry was installed in 1947 plank ferries were standard for Missouri River ferries in Montana. The present steel McClelland Ferry was installed in 2004.
