Harlem Lutheran Church hosts Annual Harvest Dinner & Bazaar

October 21, 2015

On Sunday, Oct. 25, the Harlem Lutheran Church will host their annual Harvest Dinner and Bazaar from noon to 2 p.m. On the menu will be ham with all the trimmings and dessert. Take-outs and deliveries are available; call 353-2234. Prices for the dinner are $8 for adults, $5 for ages 6 to 12, and ages 5 and under are free.

In addition to the meal, a bazaar and bake sale will offer homemade baked goods and crafts.

The church is also sponsoring a raffle with all proceeds to go to Lutheran World Relief, an organization that works around the world to end poverty, suffering and human injustice. First place in the drawing is a beautiful quilt made and donated by Ethel Siemens. Second and third place are fall baskets, filled with all kinds of items. Both the quilt and baskets are on display at Richman Insurance. Tickets are $1 apiece or 6 for $5 and may be purchased at Richman Insurance. The drawing will be held on Sunday, Nov. 10, at 1 p.m., during the annual Lutheran Harvest Dinner.

Everyone is invited to join this event for a good time of food and fellowship.
