With the District 2B tournament in Glasgow right around the corner the Harlem Wildcats are starting to find rhythm and continuity in their offensive and defensive attacks.

The Wildcats have turned a few heads these past few weeks, defeating Wolf Point in five sets and battling the top seed Glasgow Scotties to four sets, leaving some to think the District 2B is clearly anyones for the taking.

“We have definitely improved the past couple of weeks,” said head coach Kim Faulkinberry recently. “The girls are developing a never give up, never quit attitude and it is happening at the right time.”

The team will honor it’s senior Thursday when they host Poplar before heading to post season play, “We are hoping that by beating Wolf Point and by taking a set from Glasgow that it will fuel the girl’s confidence to propel us into the remainder of our season as well as into our District Tournament,” concluded Faulkinberry. The District 2B will be played August 30-31 at Glasgow High School.
