Last Sunday marked the date for the Chinook Rod and Gun Club's First Annual 22 Cal. Turkey Shoot. The newest event for the club was held at their shooting range three miles south of Chinook on the Clear Creek road.

The rules that were established by the club are as follows: For the youth division, the targets were placed at the 25 yard line and shooters were able to load and shoot 5 rounds. After the range was cleared the targets were tallied, a new set of targets was placed and the shooters could engage this set of targets with 5 more rounds for a total of 10 shots at two targets.
