senior Ian McIntosh made his return to the lineup Saturday in Turner and scored 15 points in the win.

The Chinook Sugarbeeters got back on the right side of the scoreboard following a 70-27 win over the Turner Tornadoes on the road Saturday.

With the win the 'Beeters improved to 7-5 in District 9C conference play and 10-6 overall.

Junior Kyler Johnson scored the opening two points for Chinook but senior Tyler Humphreys answered for the Tornadoes with a three point bomb to give Turner a 3-2 lead early.

The advantage was short lived as Chinook responded quickly. Freshman Isaac Bell's theft of a Tornado pass led to him getting the ball back off a nice pass from freshman Cord Schneider for an easy bucket and a 4-3 'Beeter lead they would never relinquish.

Freshman Brendan Edwards knocked his first triple of the night down pushing the lead to 7-3. Humphreys scored again for the Tornadoes but a score from Schneider inside a triple from senior Ian McIntosh and another bomb from Edwards the lead ballooned to 15-5.

Edwards knocked his third triple down to open the second quarter. McIntosh added a bucket on the next possession and Bell scored again for a 28-11 lead.
