67th Montana Seed Show, nice cars, neat tractors and happy winners

March 23, 2016

Jim Rowlatt, and his wife Kelly, pose with the Peoples' Choice award from the 2016 Seed Show's car competition. The car is a 1935 four door Humback that Rowlatt purchased at a used car lot in 1959 for $75. Rowlett said, "I've been restoring the car ever since I first bought it, and I'm still restoring it." The two-toned current paint job is one of "five or six" he's applied over the years. Original color choices were grey or black, Rowlatt's little gem was first grey.

Denny Overcast pictured with his 1947 International Farmall, model H tractor, won the top Antique Tractor award at the 2016 Montana Seed Show. Overcast said, "It was the first tractor I ever drove and I inherited it from my uncle." Overcast restored the tractor about 10 years ago and keeps it in pristine condition for car shows and other appearances.
