Independence Bank is pleased to announce that Bill Keller has been promoted to Executive Vice President. In his new position, Keller will assist in leading, supporting and coordinating the Bank management team.

In addition to his new responsibilities, Keller now sits on the Bank Board of Directors and will continue in his role of Chief Credit Officer with oversight responsibilities for all lending functions of Independence Bank in Havre and it five branches located in Malta, Glasgow, Poplar, Scobey and Conrad.

Keller has been with Independence Bank since 1997. He earned a bachelor's degree in Business Administration with an emphasis in economics and finance from Carroll College. Keller also graduated, with honors, from the Graduate School of Banking in Colorado.

In his new role as Executive Vice President and as a member of the Board of Directors, he will help shape the future of Independence Bank and our presence in the communities we serve," said Miles Hamilton, President of Independence Bank.

Keller grew up in Turner, Montana and has lived in Havre with his wife Karen for 19 years. They and their two children are strong supporters of MSU-Northern athletics. He has served as a Board Member and Past President of the NLASF for the last 12 years in addition to Co-Committee Chairman of the NLASF Spring Fling. Keller is also a co-founder of the Havre Hoop Fest and is an active member of Havre youth sports coaching basketball & baseball.
