The Library Board of Trustees will meet today at 4:15 in the library meeting room.

Local author Betty Billmayer will be at the library Thursday, Nov. 3 from 6:00-7:30 to sell and sign her latest children’s book “The Princess and the Pea...Nut Butter Sandwich.” Princess Pietra believes she will find peace if she can only have the perfect peanut butter sandwich. Although presented sandwiches from far and near, nothing satisfies her. Her parents help her realize perfect peace comes only from Jesus. Betty will do a book talk at 6:30 and refreshments will be served. Books will be on sale for $12 and Betty’s first book “Apples to Zebras” will also be available for $7. Come join us for a fun evening!

There will be no Lego Club Nov. 3.

The Book Challenge for October is to read a book that is more than ten years old. You may win a gift certificate from a local business.


“Sorrow Road” is a new novel from Julia Keller. This mystery tells two stories: one set in World War II and one set in the present day. Woven together these tales clash the past and the present, good and evil, and revenge and forgiveness.
