Blaine County Library

November 23, 2016

The movie today will be “The Lost Valentine”, which runs for 96 minutes. Everyone is welcome to attend and refreshments will be served. “Heaven is for Real” will be the movie next Wednesday. If anyone has a request for a movie to be shown, please let us know or tell Kristy at the Senior Center. We are now taking requests for movies in January.

Join us Friday November 25th during the Christmas Stroll for several special events. At 2:00 p.m. we will have a Polar Express Storytime. From 2:30 to 4:00 p.m. there will be a Ring and Sing with the Ecumenical Echoes Bell Choir. At 4:30 p.m. we will have a Christmas Storytime and craft. All of these events will take place in the meeting room. The actual library will be closed so that we can devote our time to these fun programs. We hope to see lots of kids and their families! Please feel free to contact us (357-2932) with any questions.

Kelsey has put together a book display for November called “Gobble up a Good Book.” All the books on display have something to do with food. You will find everything from cookbooks to food murder mysteries and books with some kind of food in the title.

Story Time is Tuesday mornings at 10:30 a.m. Kids of all ages and abilities are welcome to attend. LEGO Club is Thursday afternoons from 3:30-4:30 p.m. and is open to kids in grades K-6. There will be no LEGO Club November 24th, due to Thanksgiving. There will be no LEGO Club the following Thursday, December 1st, as we will be preparing for our Annual Hassle Free Christmas Program. LEGO Club will resume December 8th.

Plan to join us Thursday December 1st at 7:00 p.m. for the 25th Annual Hassle Free Christmas Program. We will have presentations and lots of wonderful food.

There is always something going on at the library. Check us out on Facebook or look us up on our website at http:www.blainecountylibrary.org for up to date information about what’s going on!
