Chinook sophomore Brendan Edwards score two first quarter points in Chinooks lopsided 75-38 win over Big Sandy Saturday night, Edwards finished with nine points in the contest.
There are only three weeks left in the High School boys basketball season and the Hays/Lodge Pole Thunderbirds continue to roll through their regular season schedule.
The Thunderbirds picked up two more impressive wins knocking off Chinook 60-43 Friday night and then topping the Chester-Joplin-Inverness Hawks 77-24 Saturday to improve to 11-1 on the season and maintain their top seed in The District 9C Standings
The Chinook sugarbeeters bounced back Saturday night with a impressive 75-38 win over the visiting Big Sandy Pioneers to improve to 8 and 4 on the season 5-4 in District 9C play.
