“Because of Winn-Dixie” will be the movie at 1:00 p.m. today. Based on the beloved, best-selling book, “Because of Winn-Dixie” is the heartwarming tale of a girl and the four–legged friend who changes her life. Everyone is welcome to attend and refreshments will be served. “August Rush” will be the movie next week. If anyone has a request for a movie, please let us know or tell Kristie at the Senior Center.

Story Time is Tuesday mornings at 10:30 a.m. Kids of all ages and abilities are welcome to attend. There will be no LEGO Club during the month of March.

Theodor Seuss Geisel was born on March 2, 1904, in Springfield, Massachusetts. He published his first children’s book, “And to Think That I Saw It on Mulberry Street,” under the name of Dr. Seuss in 1937. Next came a string of best sellers, including “The Cat in the Hat” and “Green Eggs and Ham.” His rhymes and characters are beloved by generations. Come in for a visit on Thursday and help us celebrate the birthday of Dr. Seuss! We will have refreshments.

With the start of a new month, comes a new display of books. Stop in and see what Kelsey has on display for March. New books this week are all thrillers. “Racing with the Devil” by Charles Todd is an Inspector Ian Rutledge mystery. “I See You” by Clare Mackintosh propels readers into a dark and claustrophobic thriller, in which a normal, everyday woman becomes trapped in the confines of her normal, everyday world. “This is Not Over” by Holly Brown follows two very different women with this in common: each harbors her own secret, her own reason why she can’t just let this go. Neither can yield, not before they’ve dredged up all that’s hidden, even if it has the power to shatter all they’ve built. James Patterson is at it again. “Humans, Bow Down” is an epic, dystopian, genre-bending thrill ride.

We’ve had a number of patrons in looking for tax booklets and forms. There has been a big push in the last few years to get taxpayers to file on-line, and every year the forms and booklets arrive later and later. We have Montana tax booklets and forms, but we have not received any Federal booklets or forms. We have no idea when anything will arrive. We have printed one copy of each of the tax booklets, for use in the library. All tax forms can be accessed and printed from http://www.irs.gov. We will do our best to help you find the forms you need. We do charge 20 cents per page for any printing.

New additions have been added to our on-going book sale in the entry way. We also have a cart with discarded magazines that are free for the taking.
