Turner boys second in Fort Benton, Chinook girls second in Glasgow as season begins

Turner freshman Sarah Billmayer races her way to a school record in the 300 Meter Hurdles Saturday in Glasgow. Billmayer's time of :54.83 eclipsed the old school record she established a day earlier in Fort Benton.

The high school track and field season got underway this past weekend in Fort Benton and Glasgow.

The Turner boys performed very well in Fort Benton Friday fishing second in the team standings with 68 points.

Junior Eddie Harmon paced the Tornado effort with a fantastic performance on the track.

Harmon was victorious in the 100 Meter dash winning the event with a time of :12.0. Harmon then secured wins in the 400 Meter Dash completing the lap in :55.1. In the 800 Meter Run, Harmon covered the distance in 2:10.

The Turner boys claimed the top spot in the 4x100 Meter Relay finishing in :51.33.
