Chinook girls 3rd at Cal Wearley, Turner, Harlem, Chinook boys claim individual titles

Chinook sophomore Megan Molyneaux begins to separate from the pack in the 200 Meter dash at the Cal wearley last Wednesday. Molyneaux dominated the sprints all weekend winning both the 100 and 200 meter sprints Wednesday and Saturday. Molyneauxs time of :12.28 in the 100 automatically qualifies her for the state meet and is also a new school record.

The spring Track and Field season kicked into high gear this past weekend as more than 30 teams and 500 athletes converged on the Middle School track in Havre for the Annual Cal Wearley Invitational. Saturday many of the same teams were back for the Havre Invitational.

The Chinook Girls faired very well at both meets finishing third in the Cal Wearley with 59 points and fourth in the Havre Invitational with 76 points. The Harlem boys had a great showing at the Cal Wearley finishing fourth.
