Sonrise National Park: Vacation Bible School a huge success

Camp leader Melanie Qualls and her group of Vacation Bible School students enjoy storytime in the park. The Bible School was very well attended with 44 students attending at its peak as well as 18 junior/senior high school councilors and adult leaders.

Sweet Memorial Park in Chinook was a busy place last week as the local jump youth group helped put on a vacation bible school last Monday through Thursday.

The Girl Scout house served as headquarters for the event which ran from 11:30 a.m. until 2 p.m. daily.

The school was an extremely popular event this past week, at its height 44 children attended the midday sessions headed up by 18 Junior High and High School and adult camp counselors.
