'Beeters even record with 34-14 homecoming win over Simms

The Chinook Sugarbeeters football team took on the Simms Tigers this past Friday in a homecoming game that had postseason implications on the line.

The Sugarbeeters and the Tigers each carried 2-3 into the contest and a win would allow postseason chances to remain intact.

The first series for the SugarBeeters started off inauspiciously as they were sacked on second and third down and forced to punt while losing 17 yards on the possession.

From that point on though the Sugarbeeters rebounded in a big way as they held the Tigers to a three-and-out on the ensuing possession.
