We have one non-fiction book available this week. "The Operator: Firing the Shots That Killed Bin Laden and My Years as a Seal Team Warrior" by Robert O'Neill is a thought-provoking, jaw-dropping account of the capture of Bin Laden. O'Neill is a native of Butte, Montana.

Already well-versed in the natural healing properties of herbs and oils, Jennie Pickett longs to become a doctor. But the Oregon frontier of the 1870s is an unforgiving place--especially for a single mother. To support herself and her young son, Jennie finds work caring for an older woman. When her patient dies, Jennie discovers that her heart has become entangled with the woman's widowed husband, a man many years her senior. Their unlikely romance may lead her to her ultimate goal--but the road forward is uncertain. In "All She Left Behind," which is based on a true story, Jane Kirkpatrick invites you to leave behind your preconceived notions about love and life as you, along with Jennie, discover that dreams may be deferred--but they never really die. Jan Karon returns with the fourteenth novel in the beloved Mitford series, "To be Where You Are," featuring three generations of Kavanaghs. A wonderful, beautifully told story from Danielle Steel, "Fairytale" is a captivating example of the truths that will always withstand even the darkest storms, and a reminder that sometimes fairytales do come true, and good prevails over evil in the end. "A Casualty of War" by Charles Todd is a haunting tale that explores the impact of World War I on all who witnessed it-officers, soldiers, doctors, and battlefield nurses like Bess Crawford. "The Western Star" is the thirteenth novel in Craig Johnson's beloved New York Times bestselling Longmire series, the basis for the hit Netflix series Longmire.

Stop in and checkout one of the books from the display table. Kelsey's display for October is Books that go Bump in the Night!

Wednesday movies are showing again! Smitty will be the movie today at 1:00 p.m. in the library meeting room. It is rated PG and running time is 94 minutes. Everyone is welcome to attend and refreshments will be served. The Zoo Keeper's Wife will be October 25th. We will be showing the movies with closed captioning whenever possible. Hopefully this will encourage those who may have difficulties hearing the movies to attend.
