Chinook Senior Center

December 20, 2017

Kristie Norby decorates the Senior Center Christmas tree while Roger Fisher plays the guitar.

Merry Christmas! It's the most wonderful time of the year! We are having a "Holiday Special" on cinnamon rolls for $1 every Thursday throughout the holidays. Please call ahead with your orders, so the cook knows how many to make.

The movie "A Heavenly Christmas" will be shown this Wednesday in the library meeting room at 1 p.m. Popcorn and drinks will be provided.

There will be no Strong People exercise class until after the new year.

Bingo is played this Thursday afternoon at 1 p.m. Last week, Karyn Higgins, Marilyn Williamson and Francis Ewing won the blackout prize.

We will be having our Christmas party this Friday. The Kitchen Band will play some holiday music and there will be pinochle in the afternoon. If you have a Christmas sweater, this is the day to wear it!

The center will be closed on Monday, Dec. 25 for Christmas. We will also be closed Tuesday, Dec. 26 for the holidays, but there will be a potluck at noon. There will be no deliveries on that day.

Don't forget to buy your meal ticket or get a gift certificate for a great Christmas present. Prices for meals are going up to $1 starting Jan. 1.

Thank you to Steve and Sherry Edwards for the generous donation, to the anonymous donor for buying a meal for all our takeouts last week, to Edwards Funeral Home and the CHS Cheerleaders for the cookies, and to Dorris Hamilton for the dishcloths and puzzles. We appreciate you for thinking of us with your gifts!

Stop by and see us at the center. The coffee is always on!
