Reminder! School will be in session Friday, January 6th. It will be a regular school day.

Remember that the half day MAKEUP school day will be January 19th. Children will be fed lunch and dismissed at 12:30. Parent/Teacher conferences will follow. There is also a basketball game that evening at the Turner School.

Lisa Stroh, representative of Books are Fun, will set up a book fair in the school cafeteria January 19th from 12:00-6:00p.m. Come browse through her books and perhaps consider adding a few to your personal library!

The Turner School will be participating in the local Geography BEE at the school on Tuesday, January 9th during 4th period (11:13) in the 5th and 6th grade classroom.

The local spelling bee for grades 4-8 will be held on Tuesday, January 16th, at 11:13 p.m. in the school gymnasium.

There will be Tornado basketball at Hays at 5:00 and 6:30 this coming Friday. The Tornadoes will travel to Chinook on Saturday and play at 6:00 and 7:30 p.m. Hope you’ll consider coming to support the Tornado teams.

Just a reminder that the Big Flat 4-H Cloverbuds will gather after school on Monday, January 8th.

Jim Reed and his family enjoyed Christmas Eve dinner at the Reed home. Those attending were Dave Reed of Billings, Davion Reed of Las Vegas, Craig and Monty Reed of Great Falls, Dale and Kris Tiegs and Danica of Minnesota, Amelia Reed and friend, Ben of Missoula, Rick and Andrea Fossen of Great Falls, Steve and Anita Reed and family, Randy and Diana Maloney and family, of Turner.

Randy and Diana Maloney hosted Christmas dinner at their home. Those attending were Dan and Helen Maloney of Havre, Hilary and Tim Richman and family of Harlem, Dale and Kris Tiegs and Danica of Minnesota, Jim Reed, Harlan and Jane Krass, Steve and Anita Reed and family, Davion Reed of Vegas, all joined the Maloney’s at their home. Afternoon visitors were Craig and Monty Reed and Amelia, and Val Golden.

Angie and Matt Eckdahl and children, Robert and Breanne Van Voast joined Don and Val Van Voast for the Christmas holiday.

Christmas Eve dinner guests at Max and Kirsti Cederberg’s were Lenny Erickson, Brian Anderson and Dan Kegel.

Linda and Darel Hauge spent Christmas with Adam and Lauren Hauge and grandsons at Liberty Lake, Washington.

Max and Kirsti Cederberg had Christmas dinner at Lenny Erickson’s with him and the Kraig Hansen families.

Sheena and Bob Binder of Colorado visited with Glenna Ammen and family over the holidays. Plans are for Glenna to return home with them for a couple weeks when they return.

Tom and Lucy Fairbank spent Christmas Eve with A.J. and Denise Watkins. They got together later in the week for a late Christmas dinner due to family illness.

Don, Bonnie, and Vanessa Harmon were Christmas Eve and Christmas day guests of Jon and Shelly Harmon and family.

Christmas Day dinner guests at the Terry and Tammy Jones residence were Chad Jones and Catie and Don and Marilyne Berger. Later on towards New Years they expect Chelsi Jones and Jordan, Matt and Britney Tempel and children, Chad and Catie and Don and Marilyne Berger.

Rose Van Voast was over to Jay and Bette Jo Snider’s for Christmas.

Richelle and Chris Brueher and Colten and Jacob were guests at Peggy and Francis Van Voast’s over the Christmas holiday. They were all guests of Jay and Bette Jo Snider’s for Christmas dinner.
