This evening is the presentation “A Visit with Teddy Roosevelt” 7 P.M. at the Harlem Public Library. This Humanities Montana program features actor/historian Archer Ellwein as the 26th president of the U.S. Hear his views on conservation, agriculture, and democracy, all shaped by his western experience. Following his “press conference” Ellwein will come out of character for further discussion. This event is co-sponsored by the Little Rockies Sr. Center and the library. Refreshments will be served.

The Microsoft Word class originally scheduled for Jan. 17 has been rescheduled for Jan. 31, 7 P.M. Hope Speakthunder and Heidi Harris will instruct the class. If you plan to attend please contact the library at 353-2712. Also the instructors would like a list of what you would like them to cover.

The library will be closed Friday, Feb. 2, so staff may attend training.

A new series by Nora Roberts begins with “Year One.” On New Year’s Eve the sickness came and spread. Then the electrical grid failed and the government collapsed. In place of science and technology magic takes over- some for the good and some unimaginably evil.

Two new inspirational novels are “Blind Spot,” book three in the Chesapeake Valor series by Dani Pettrey and “Until We Find Home” by Cathy Gohlke.

“Promise Me, Dad” is a memoir by former vice-president Joe Biden. This work chronicles the most challenging year of Biden’s life as he balanced his duties serving as vice-president and his duties as a father to his son, Beau, who fought for and lost his life to brain cancer.

A new Sigma Force novel by James Rollins is “The Demon Crown.” The Sigma Force team attempts to save the future of mankind as they join forces with a hated enemy to stop an ancient threat.

Other new novels include “Miramar Bay” and “Firefly Cove” by Davis Bunn, “The Paris Secret” by Karen Swan, and “The Fortunate Ones” by Ellen Umansky.
