The sixth meeting of the White Pine 4-H club was called to order by Acting President Colton called to order at 5:30 p.m. on March 15th, 2018 at the Chinook Meadowlark School Cafeteria with 13 members, 2 leaders, and 5 guests present.

Grace led the American pledge and the 4-H pledge was led by Britton.

Roll call was to name a place you would like to visit. Acting Secretary Britton read the minutes from the last meeting. The minutes were approved as read.

Treasurer Britton gave the treasurer's report.

The club sent out two thank you notes, one to the Montana Seed Show thanking them for the prize money and one to Northern Montana Hospital for their donation.

The club held three committee meetings in February. Bobbi reported that on the community service meeting and Ethan reported on the Seed Show and the work meetings for making the Seed Show Display.

The club expressed interest in the upcoming robotics meetings following Gus's report on the session held during the Montana Seed Show. He stated that those who attended were taught how to make a car that they then were able to take home with them.

Under unfinished business, there was a reminder that all members need to complete a demonstration or talk before the end of the year.

This group reminds us to be 'Sweet to your Heart' at the Triple E meeting room.

Under new business, our community service project will be cleaning the baseball field on March 25th, 2018 at 2:00pm (weather permitting). UPDATE: Cleaning the baseball field has been postponed until the snow clears. Jason and Jacob will keep members updated as to when we will be able to clean the field.

Katie Tilleman motioned to adjourn the meeting and Daniel Tilleman seconded it. Motion passed.

Guest speaker, Jessica Gallus, along with her two children, taught our club about first aid and CPR. Members practiced on the dummies and even applied and used an AED.

Thank you to the Johnson family for hosting this meeting.

Our next meeting will be April 19th at 5:30 at the Meadowlark Cafeteria. Hosts will be the Colton and Stacie Liddle family.
