Roger loved Salmon fishing and did most of his fishing off the Oregon Coast. When Roger retired he spent his summers in Milwaukie Oregon residing with son Robert Stirling and family, and wintered in Mesa, Arizona with daughter Shelly Carter before she passed in 2014. His son Rawland Stirling resides in Portland Oregon.

A very special part of Roger's life was his 9 grandchildren (6 Grandsons and 3 Granddaughters).

Roger enjoyed the many Stirling family outings and family traveling adventures. He most often enjoyed traveling with sister JoAnn and Conrad Roseburg, and their extended family. Roger Stirling will forever be a bright spot in our memories.
