Remembering 9/11: Cody Welsh, a senior at Turner High School, reads a short poem about September 11th with fellow Student Council members looking on.

Susan, Avery, and Piper Fox spent the night with Phil and Patty Schwabach of Power. They visited with Susan's niece Cassie and family from Sun River.

Kirsti and Max Cederberg visited with Renella and Kraig Hansen in Chinook on Sunday. Afterwards, they went to the nursing home to make visitations and visit with Bill and Edith Bilger.

The Lutheran Fall Dinner will be on October 7th from 12:00-2:00 p.m. at the Lutheran Church. Turkey and all the trimmings will be served. Everyone is invited to attend.

Gerald and Shirley Keller attended their grandson's football game in Havre vs. Lewistown. His team won and it was fun watching the young kids play.

Several from the area attended the Angus tour along the Hi-Line area this week. Sonny and Nellie Obrecht hosted the event at their ranch and many from the Big Flat attended the breakfast down there cooked by the Lions Club.

Miles and Linda Hutton had lunch with Dorothy Johnson and her brothers and their wives from Minnesota, two of her cousins from Washington and Tom Johnson and Linda Miller from Malta on Saturday.

Gerald Keller was among the group of Lions Club that helped cook for the Angus tour this week.

Randy and Diana Maloney stopped to visit Dan and Helen Maloney in Havre on Monday afternoon.

Many are waiting for Mother Nature to change her mind about having cold and foggy days so they can get their harvest finished up and maybe even plant some Winter Wheat. Turner received well over 1.5" this past week. It's been wet and chilly all week long.

Remember the Annual Firemen Spaghetti Supper for the Hogeland Fire Department. It will be held this year in Hogeland at the American Lutheran Church on Sunday, October 14, from 5:00-7:00. Come enjoy the evening and help support the firemen from Hogeland.

Yearbooks are now on sale at the Turner School. They sell for $25.00 each and can be picked up at the school.

Fall School photos are scheduled to be taken this year at the school on October 29th. Junior High basketball photos will also be taken that day.
