White Pine 4H Club files September report

September 26, 2018

President Rebecca Stroh (Rebecca had to leave early, so Vice President Drake Berreth finished the meeting) called the meeting to order at 5:30 p.m. on August 16th, 2018 at the Meadowlark School Cafeteria with twenty members, three leaders, and five guests present.

Emma Klingaman led the American pledge and the 4-H pledge was led by Lincy Johnson.

Roll call was to state your middle name.

Secretary Lincy Johnson read the minutes from the May meeting. The minutes were approved as read. Treasurer Britton Elliot gave the treasurer’s report.

Under unfinished business, there was a reminder that all members need to complete a demonstration or talk before the end of the year. Jennah Liddle motioned for the club to pay all fair fees and Mya Berreth seconded it. Motion passed.

Under new business, Mini Congress was canceled due to lack of interest. A sign up sheet was made available for hosting meetings for the next year. For our window display, we decided that each member will bring a picture of them participating in a 4-H activity attached to a clover. Jenny Buck will bring a title poster.

Record books are due September 28th.

There is a 4-H council meeting on September 10th at 6:30 p.m. There is an after fair meeting immediately following this 4-H meeting.

Katie Tilleman motioned to adjourn the meeting and Daniel Tilleman seconded it.

Motion passed.

Thank you to the Stroh families for hosting this meeting.

Our next meeting will be September 20th at 5:30 p.m. at the Meadowlark Cafeteria. Hosts will be the Davies family.
