"The Lighthouse Keeper's Daughter" is by Hazel Gaynor. Her likeness is captured by painter George Emmerson who also captures her heart.

One hundred years later a pregnant Matilda Emmerson arrives in America from Ireland. She is sent to live with the keeper of Rose Island Lighthouse and there she discovers a half-finished portrait that opens a window into Matilda's past.

Robert Dugoni is the author of "The Extraordinary Life of Sam Hell." Sam Hell was born with ocular albinism, making him the victim of vicious teasing because of his red pupils. He persevered, held up by his mother's faith, his father's wisdom and two misfit friends. Forty years later, Sam has turned his back on his friends and his hometown. His decision to take a journey halfway around the world brings into focus what changed him and what truly matters.
