The District Tournament finished up on Saturday in Havre. There was a lot of good basketball played. The Turner Girls placed third and will compete at the Divisional Tourney in Great Falls this coming week. Congratulations to them and their coaches, Julie Welch and Darci Ammen.

Loretta and Wally Beck attended the County Spelling Bee in Chinook on Tuesday in which their grandson Tate Beck participated.

Gene Billmayer was in Havre on business Thursday and while there took daughter Emily to the basketball game. They went to see Larry Billmayer and Gene also took Emily out to eat at Pizza Hut.

Elissa and Jordan Zellmer returned home after spending the week in Mexico. The kids spent their time with Grandma Kathy and Grandpa Ed Zellmer while the parents were gone.

Last week, Teresa and Dave Cornell went to Las Vegas and from there drove to Lake Havasu where they visited Chet and Ruthann Fouts and Dan and Amy Hutton.


Aaron and Bret VanValkenburg have been plowing snow around her house and yard. She appreciates it very much.

Susan Billmayer visited Jane and Harlan Krass on Sunday after church at their home and had a cup of coffee with them.

This weekend, Cassie and Richard Handran and family went to Turner and met up with Dave and Teresa Cornell and went to the Legion Breakfast. They also had lunch with them at the farm later.

Chad Beck took Mom, Sandy Beck to Billings on Tuesday for her doctor appointment.

Loretta Beck went to the Pep Rally in Turner on Wednesday before the girls left for the Tournament.

Kathy and Ed Zellmer, Caleb, Brady, and Gracie Zellmer attended the Turner and Chinook Tournament games in Havre.

Wally and Loretta Beck attended granddaughter Harley Jo’s 7th birthday supper at the Shawn and Bobbi Beck’s home. Others attending were Ralph and Nancy Snider, Shawn and Trent Billmayer, Scott and Lesli Snider and Meridan, Mike and Crystal Grabofsky, Cassidy, Holly, Cooper, and Lucy and Kevin Beck.

The Krass Girls have been over during the week to help Mom and Dad and to shovel snow off their driveway. We really appreciate them doing this for us.

Loretta Beck said they really enjoyed watching the Tourney games on the NFHS Network.

Chad Beck brought Mom, Sandy Beck a beautiful floral arrangement for Valentine’s Day.

This past week has been cold and snowy. There’s getting to be a few snow drifts around the yards and roads. Spring can’t come soon enough!!
