Chinook golfers continue to perform well on the links, 7 qualified for the State C

The Chinook Sugarbeeter Varsity Girls Golf Team has performed very well this season and after this past week have qualified five for the State C Meet in Seely, May 14-15. In Shelby this past Thursday, the quartet of sophomore Crystal Hofer, senior Ashley MacLeod, sophomore Hailey Bell and junior Alyssa Gruszie turned in a team score of 303 to win the team title. The Chinook High School Golf Team had another superb week on the course as the girls won the Shelby Invitational on Thursday and qualified their fifth team member for the State C in Seely, March 15-16 Friday in Fort Benton. The boys qualified their second for the State C as well in Fort Benton.
Thursday morning seven golfers headed to the Marias Valley Golf Course in Shelby.
