Today at 4:15 the Harlem Library Board will hold is monthly meeting in the meeting room.

It’s not too late to participate in this year’s summer reading program “Imagine Your Story.” Children of all ages are invited to attend Storytime in the Park every Tuesday at 10 A.M. Children must be accompanied by a parent/guardian and each family unit is asked to bring a blanket to sit on. Each child will be given a craft project to make at home. Children ages 0-kindergarten can keep track of each book read or read to them. Students in grades 1-8 may keep track of minutes read. Teens and adults should notify the library for each book read. The Book Challenge for June is to read an original or retelling of a fairy tale. We have some selections on display for you to choose from. You may have a chance to win a gift certificate from a local business.

The library has mobile hotspots available for check out. These small devices can be used to access the Internet by using a cellular connection. To check out a hotspot you must be a registered user with at least a one month record in good standing. Hotspots may be checked out for 14 days with no renewals.

A new Maggie Wise mystery by Tricia Fields is “Young Blood.” The second installment in the Brides of Hope Mountain series by Mary Connealy is “Woman of Sunlight.” The latest from James Patterson and Andrew Holmes is “Revenge.”
