James Edward Lang

James Edward Lang, 74, beloved husband, step father and grandfather died of cancer, Thursday, June 25, 2020 at his home in Chinook with his wife by his side.

James was born July 14, 1945 in Denver to Lloyd and Margaret Thompson Lang he attended school in Denver till the 10th grade then went into the military. James married Lynda Schilling on March 17, 2017 but they had been together for 17 years. He worked at Town Pump in Chinook for 17 years, and retired due to his health in 2020. He loved his work at Town Pump and missed it greatly.

James love to play golf, fish, cross stitch and spend time with family and friends. He loves to work outside with flowers and building a patio to enjoy the days and evenings outside. James loved living in Chinook. He was friendly and kind to all he met. He will be greatly missed by all that he touched.

James is survived by his wife Lynda Schilling of Chinook, one step daughter and son-in-law Amber and Eric Miller of Chinook, two stepsons Craig Schilling of Chinook and Logan Schilling of Chinook, A granddaughter Alayna Schilling of Billings, one sister in law Laurie Seymour and her husband Alvin of Foreman Arkansas, brother-in-law Tom Barton and his wife Anne-Marie of Billings, one brother David and his wife Helen of Denver, CO.

The graveside service will be held on July 8,2020 at 11:00am at Kuper Memorial Cemetery with a reception to follow at the Chinook Golf Course.
