Finley's Food Farm Gets 'Rosie' for Their Customers

Finley’s Food Farm has taken another step in their never ending effort to best serve their valued customers. For years Finley’s Food Farm has offered some sort of delivery service to assist members of the community with their grocery needs. This service has been primarily for residents of the Grande Villa in the past as well as senior citizens. Adding a pickup service has been in the mix for sometime and now that time is here.

The trend in recent years of people utilizing Smartphone Apps has led to customers being more adept and willing to conduct business online. One trend gaining steam lately is patrons using home delivery for their grocery needs. Others are placing an order in advance and then simply picking up their groceries at the store all bagged and ready to go to avoid the hassle of walking the aisles.

How does this apply to a small grocery store like Finley’s Food Farm? Rosie is the answer. Rosie is a online service of which Finley’s Food Farm is now a member of. The service will allow customers to shop the store virtually, sales included, adding items to their cart as they shop. When the order is complete the customer simply checks out and pays with a credit or debit card.

“We wanted to expand our customers ability to shop our store,” said Owner, Jeff Finley. “This service will allow people to shop at home at their convenience and then schedule a pickup time on Tuesday or Friday to pick up their groceries.”

Currently Finley’s Food Farm has pickup orders available on Tuesdays and Fridays weekly from 10 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. Their is a minimum purchase of $30 and a maximum of $400.

“We know folks are busy in our area and we want to help our customers manage their time. School means students are busy and parents are following kids with all their extracurricular activities,” added Finley. “We are an agricultural community and many are busy with work and everything else, hopefully this service is something that can help them save time.”

To register it is very simple, go to http://www.rosieapp.com and on their home page click the red ‘get started’ button in the upper right to create a free account, then select Finley’s Food Farm by clicking on ‘Find A Store’ fill out the required fields and you’re all set.

For now the store is only doing pickup on Tuesdays and Fridays, but depending on the use of the App changes may be made in the future as needed to better serve their customers.

Jeff, Lynette and the entire crew are always happy to serve the community, “I look forward to and enjoy seeing our customers in the store, but I understand that sometimes they are busy and as such we are very happy to be able to offer them another option to cover their grocery needs,” concluded Finley.
