Blaine County Library

April 28, 2021

We have one non-fiction book and several thrillers available this week. In "On the House: A Washington Memoir" John Boehner, former Speaker of the House, shares colorful tales from the halls of power, the smoke-filled rooms around the halls of power, and his fabled tour bus. "When the Stars Go Dark" by Paula McLain is a thriller that entwines fictional crime with real cases and is guaranteed to keep readers up all night. "The Other Emily" by Dean Koontz takes readers on a twisting journey of lost love, and terrifying promises. "Ocean Prey" by John Sandford is a Lucus Davenport and Virgil Flowers thriller. "The Good Sister" by Sally Hepworth stirs up dark secrets from the past and exposes the lies that bind two sisters.

Be sure to look at the April book displays when you stop in. We have gardening books on the display table and a display of books about autism.

We have 2 iPads available for checkout for a 14-day checkout, and 3 WiFi hotspots.

Blaine County Library is still following CDC guidelines for preventing the spread of COVID. We are currently under a mask mandate implemented by the Blaine County Commissioners after the Governor lifted the statewide mandate. The library's Pandemic/Epidemic Policy gives the library board the authority to continue requiring masks, handwashing and social distancing until the CDC no longer recommends those measures to prevent the spread of COVID, and the library will be following that policy.
