At the end of last month, Harlem Elementary School officials announced the Second Semester ROARing Students of the 2020-2021 school year. Earning ROARing Lil' Wildcat titles are Harlan Mount (Kindergarten), Jesse Messerly (first grade), Curtis Goldsmith (second grade), Kaceyn Morris-Ross (third grade), Madison Barr (fourth grade), Jeremiah Brockie (fifth grade), and Madison Mount (sixth grade).

According to a spokesperson from the school, Janice Gilham, everyone is likely aware of the challenging year that students have faced. "It is no small feat that this special group was able to continue to follow and display the qualities that are the core of ROARing Lil' Wildcats-Respectful, Organized, Always safe, and Responsible. Congratulations to our sensational students!"

Because of their consistent positive behavior exhibiting the ROAR characteristics, these seven students were awarded with a giant, decorated box full of goodies and prizes. Gilham explained that the awards also extend an appreciation to these learners for the diligence they put forth over the second half of the school year.
