Sis Nace, 76 of Billings passed away August 22 due to Covid pneumonia.
Sis was born Jan. 13, 1945 to Ralph and Minerva (Wilcox) Nace in Great Falls, MT and joined a big brother, Bill at home. She attended school in Hogeland and Harlem.
Sis married Ralph Snider on June 30, 1962 and together they had four children; Lisa, Jay, Kathy and Julie. They later divorced.
Sis worked many years as a bank teller in Harlem and then at the Vet Clinic in Roundup for Doc Arthur. She drove truck for Corcoran Trucking and was able to see many places in her travels. Before retirement, she worked at Tractor Supply in Billings, making many friends with customers and co workers. Except for briefly living at the Nace Ranch to help care for her parents, she made her home in Billings.
Sis traveled all over the U.S. to see her kids, grand and great-grandkids. She loved attending all of their sporting events and school functions. She most recently flew to South Carolina to attend her grandson Cody's graduation from Basic Training at Fort Jackson. If you asked her, she'd tell you her most important job was that as "Mom, Gram, and Gramma Great". She loved her family and friends fiercely and was the best "Aunt Sis". She never hesitated to drop everything and come cook for a branding/farming/or harvesting crew or take care of the grandkids.
