Blossom Quisno

September 22, 2021

On October 27, 1958, Blossom was born to James and Pearl Marie Birdtail. The world was a better place since that day. She had so many impressive values and traits. She was so special with her smile, cheerfulness, never ending questions and readiness to help regardless of the situation. She always knew the right things to say to make a person feel better in a hard situation. She always strived to do her best at whatever she did. She was really competitive and she usually came out on top of what she was competing at. If not, she was ready to try again. Blossom was a family orientated person. She put everything into loving and supporting her family first and foremost. She grew up at the Birdtail Ranch, attended school locally, had her first child Oscar Birdtail and went on to receive her GED from the United Tribes in North Dakota. She met her first husband there and had two children, Donald and Crystal Bear. She met the love of her life, William Quisno in 1993 and they married in 1997. Their marriage was a happy and fulfilling time. As her children grew, finished school, worked and had families of their own, she was so proud of them. She loved having her grandchildren come to visit and spend time with her and Willie. She always had interesting and cute stories to tell about them. She began her employment at FB Housing. She excelled in learning the computerized financial system. She went on to work with FBIC Finance where she quickly learned all she could there and was assigned to other departments to assist. She moved to the Head Start where she spread her wings and delved into erecting her legacy, the Little Bear Cub Academy, a center for preschoolers. She named the school for her twin grandchildren, Kale and Hazel. She was so proud of her accomplishment when it was completed. On August 21st, she accepted Jesus as her lord and Savior. Blossom retired for health reasons. With the support of her family she made the decision to face the mending process. The loss of Blossom is devastating but she is at peace and with family that went before her. Her family can be assured that she never left them. She will always be looking over them.
