Harlem Library

The library board will meet today at 4:15 in the library meeting room. Today is the deadline to enter your pumpkins in “The Great Pumpkin Contest.” Decorate your pumpkin as your favorite book character and have it to the library by 6 P.M. If you wish to become a member or renew your membership in Friends of the Library dues are $10 and may be paid at the library. The Book Challenge for Oct. is to read a weather related book. The challenge for Nov. is to read a book by an Indigenous author. Storytime for ages 0-5 meets Tues. at 10 A.M. After School Squad for school children is held Wed. at 3:30. Lego Club meets Thurs. at 4:30.

Harlem Food Bank

The Harlem Food Bank is CLOSED until further notice.

Bear Paw Cooperative

Hearing Screenings will take place in Bear Paw Cooperative member schools from August 23 through October 30, 2021. Children enrolled in kindergarten and first grade, and ninth or tenth grade will be screened. No other children will be screened without parental permission.

Bear Paw Cooperative

The Bear Paw Cooperative, through your local school district, assists in the provision of special education and related services to children with disabilities. Through a process called Child Find, your local school district accepts referrals, provides evaluations and special education for children ages 3-18 years if they qualify. Blaine County Library

“Spooktacular” Book Sale during the month of October. Mondays-Hangout for grades 7 & 8 3:30, Tuesdays- Story Time 10:30 a.m. & Hangout for grades 5 & 6 3:30 p.m., No LEGO Club this week, Friday- Early out movie at 12:45 p.m. is The Boxtrolls. Code Girls United training October 28 3:30 to 5:00 p.m.

Chinook Jr./Sr. High School

Chinook Jr./ Sr. High School will hold Parent Teacher conferences on Monday November 1st.

Conferences will run from 4 pm-7 pm. No appointments are necessary,but please check into the office upon arrival.

Blaine County Museum

Blaine County Museum is looking for volunteers to work Saturdays during the winter! We’re hoping to be open from 10 am – 2 pm on Saturdays beginning late November through March. Volunteers would open and close the museum, answer basic questions about the museum’s exhibits and collection, operate the museum’s documentary film, and make bookstore sales.
