New Year Brings Mat Success to 'Beeters, Wildcats at Cut Bank Invitational

Chinook senior Shay Hauer pins Fergus High's Salome Legast in 2:50 Friday at the Cut Bank Invitational. Hauer finished third in Cut Bank.
The Chinook Sugarbeeters and Harlem Wildcat wrestling teams were in Chester on Thursday for a Mixer and stepped into tournament action Friday and Saturday at the Cut Bank Invitational.
The Cut Bank Invitational is good tournament to start the year and the coaches and wrestlers were both looking for a good start to the new year.
Chinook senior Wyatt Dunbar continued his strong effort on the mat, finishing second in the 285 pound weight class. Junior Tyler Schoen also turned in an outstanding effort collecting a second place finish at 170 pounds.
