Harlem Library

Today, Jan. 26, the library board will hold its monthly meeting at 4:15. The library is hosting the Humanities Montana program “Connecting to the Land through a Tribal Lens” with guest presenter Lailani Upham, Mon., Jan 31 at 6 P.M. The Book Challenge for Jan. is to read a collection of short stories.

Bear Paw Cooperative

The Bear Paw Cooperative, through your local school district, assists in the provision of special education and related services to children with disabilities. Through a process called Child Find, your local school district accepts referrals, provides evaluations and special education for children ages 3-18 years if they qualify. Blaine County Museum

Blaine County Museum is looking for volunteers to work Saturdays during the winter! We’re hoping to be open from 10 am – 2 pm on Saturdays beginning late November through March. Volunteers would open and close the museum, answer basic questions about the museum’s exhibits and collection, operate the museum’s documentary film, and make bookstore sales. Blaine County Museum

New winter hours are Monday-Friday 12-5 and Saturdays from 10-2.

Blaine County Library

Book Sale during the month of January. Hangout for grades 7 & 8 is Mondays at 3:30, Story Time is Tuesdays at 10:30, Hangout for grades 5 & 6 is Tuesdays at 3:30, Code Girls is Wednesdays at 3:45, Thursdays is LEGO/STEAM Club at 3:30 and Friday is Early Out Movie at 1:30.

Harlem Food Bank

The Harlem Food Bank IS OPEN.

Chinook Senior Center

The Chinook Senior Center Board will be hosting a birthday party for all the people whose birthdays are in January and who are members of Chinook Senior Center. The party will be the past Friday of January. January 28, 2022 at 12 Noon. Your invitation is in the mail.

Block Builders Quilt Guild

Block Builders Quilt Guild would like to showcase all the quilts you have done in the last couple years at the September 2022 meeting. Also, if you like to do a demonstration at one of the meetings. They would be more than happy to schedule you for a meeting, this would also go towards your demonstration requirement for record books.

Missoula Children’s Theatre

Returning to Chinook.

Auditions for MCT’s production of Hansel and Gretel will be held at Meadowlark Elementary School on Monday, January 31 from 3:45-5:45 pm. All children in grades K-12 are welcome to audition.
