New titles ready for check out this week include “Box 88” by Charles Cumming. In this spy thriller a secret agent comes of age as he reckons with the legacy of his first mission.

“Daughters of the Moon Goddess” is by Sue Lynn Tan. This debut fantasy is inspired by the legend of the Chinese moon goddess. A young woman’s quest to free her mother’s spirit sets her on a dangerous path where she is pitted against the most powerful immortal in the realm.

Elizabeth George is the author of “Something to Hide.” Inspector Thomas Lynley is assigned to investigate the death of a fellow police detective who has been working on a special task force in North London’s Nigerian community. In pursuit of the killer Lynley must sort through the lies and secrets of people whose cooperation masks the damage they do to one another.

“The Replacement Wife” is by Darby Kane. In this thriller Elisa Wright is living the quiet life of a mother and wife and she is convinced her brother-in-law is a murderer.


Other new titles include “Fiona and Jane” by Jean Chen Ho, “The Family You Make” by Jill Shalvis, and “Robert B. Parker’s Bye Bye Baby” by Ace Atkins.

Entrepreneurs and small business owners are invited to “Bring It to the Table” March 28, 11:30 – 12:30 in the library meeting room. These monthly sessions provide a time to talk about concerns and issues as well as share with others who are involved in small business. Special guest this month will be Joe LaPlante, director of the Small Business Development Center in Havre and the topic will be business plans.

The library is hosting the program “Internet Security” presented by Triangle Communications March 28, 6 P.M. This presentation will cover email and phone scams, password protection and other security issues. Bring your devices if you wish.

The Book Club will hold its first discussion of the book “Moloka’i” by Alan Brennert March 21, 4 P.M.

The Book Challenge for March is to read a book with a two-word title. When you complete the challenge your name is entered to win a gift card from a local business.

The “Buy a Bag O’Books” used books sale continues through the month of March. You may purchase a grocery sack full of used books for only one dollar.

The library board of trustees will hold their monthly meeting March 30, 4:15 P.M. in the library meeting room.
